My brother in law and I played this course and we really enjoyed it. I'd played here years ago and it has always been one of my favorites but I'd quit coming here because it's a long way from my home. I will play it again! The course is in great shape, particularly considering the drought we're in , and the layout is fun and challenging. I highly recommend it.

By purchasing a membership the value is tremendous. My golfing group has switched to Oak Quarry because of the deal. It is the most attractive course around, the price is excellent, and the amenities set it apart from most courses.

This is the only course I have ever played that ranks up there with the courses at Bandon Dunes. This is a hidden gem that should be ranked nationally on the courses you can play list.

Awesome. Great Track, don't miss this, not your normal SoCal golf course, this could belong to the RTJ Golf Trail, or be in the Carolinas.. awesome, great people.

Excellent fairways, I had exactly 0 bad lies due to condition all day. Greens were above average and consistent 1 thru 18.

I played this course using a coupon I'd received at the L.A. Golf Show. I enjoyed my round. The course is a challenge, with several holes that penalize you dearly if you don't keep your ball in the fairway. Though I did not shoot the score I would have liked, I did manage to break 100 on a course that is more challenging than the ones I play most often. Given the cost of playing Oak Quarry, I only play there when I have a discount coupon, but it's fairly priced for what one gets. I choose not to pay more than $50 for a round of golf. My golfing partners that day thoroughly enjoyed the course. Two of them had never played there before.

They recently dropped their prices to a more reasonable level. The total course layout is one of the best. Fairly difficult course that's a lot of fun. Can't wait to go back!

Bunkers are deplorable. Hard packed dirt. Several had standing water. Really detracted from an othrwise outstanding course

The last time I played here was with two friends from out of town and a very good bartender friend - and it was game day - a little gambling, drinking, and sportsmanship? No. Just gambling and drinking, as it was game on!!! I was the big loser on this particular day, with a carry-over on Oak Quarry's prestigious postcard par three downhill into the quarry itself. I was the Wolf, and my style is to go Blind when I'm the Wolf, no matter what kind of money is on the line. However, the next par 4 was worth 40 skin carry-overs and 15 wolves ... and yes, I went BLIND. And ... after not being able to find what I THOUGHT was a decent tee shot, I lost the hole and a LOT of money! This course was so fun and full of challenges on that day ... and it was about the 5th time I played it all-told. I would go back in a heartbeat. Nothing in the way of a clubhouse, but when you're an hour from home, ya don't wanna have 3 beers and drive anyway! So, it's ok that the clubhouse makes you want to leave after a tough day of golf. Great place! Get your clubs and go, bro!

There's not a bad hole on this course; challenging and fair at the same time. Because of its location, there is no ambient noise on the course (except for random expletives), which makes it that much more enjoyable. The only downside is the dining/bar area which is, oddly, just a continuation of the pro shop and is reminiscent of a cafeteria at a community college. Don't let that stop you from playing there, however.

The ownership just spent a bunch of time and money getting The Quarry back into great shape. It is my understanding that they will be punching the greens soon (unfortunate because they're in great shape now), and shutting down the course until they recover. This course is unique, and should be a "must play" on your list if you are anywhere in the vicinity!

The par 3 signature hole is spectacular both visually and as a shot.

I have played many courses in this area and, in my opinion, this is the best. The fairways and greens are outstanding and the staff is exceptional. I drive an hour to and an hour back to play this course every week and always look forward to the next round. The employees, from the General Manager to the Cart Staff, are efficient, polite, and professional. The course is challenging and difficult but rewards good play. In the 5 to 6 years of playing Oak Quarry, I have never regretted a single dime I have spent at this golf course.

We had a great time. Views were fantastic and while the course was challenging, it was fair. Half of each green was punched and sanded so it would be even better when not sanded.

Came back after 5 years, driving from San Diego and fighting traffic. Staff was great getting us out as we were late for our tee time due to gridlock. The course is always a treat with some fantastic holes cut through the quarry. They probably could say they have 4 or 5 signature holes but the par 3 14th hole is the most dramatic. The course condition was pretty good, greens rolled well, and the fairways were nice. A fun course that you need to play at least once in your life but gets better the second time once you get some course knowledge.
